New Research Vessel Launched

A totally independently designed and constructed ocean-going research vessel—“Science” launched in Qingdao, a northern China sea-port, on Sep. 29. The Science was started its construction in 2010, which is an integrated research vessel with 4711 displacement tonnage, total length 99.80 meters, width 17.80 meters, draught 8.90 meters, cruising radius 15,000 nautical miles, and maximum speed 15 knots.
