Cooperation between CAS and Local Authorities

Alkylol Amine Sub-center Established

On Apr. 27, a signing ceremony for cooperation agreement on CAS Nanjing Hi-Tech R&D and Industrialization Center Alkylol Amine Branch (Alkylol Amine Engineering Technology Research Center) between Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, CAS and Nanjing Hongbaoli Co., Ltd. was staged in Gaochun County, Jiangsu Province. With support of the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, this center focuses on the research of preparation of green and new polyalcohol synthesized from alkylol amine, aimed to apply the supercritical technology to special polyalcohol and organic amine other than isopropanolamine and provide advanced technological support to the development of fine chemical industry in China. Both parties will make efforts to build it into a first-class research center in this field with remarkable home-grown innovation.
