Infrared Detectors for Room-Temperature Ferroelectric Thin Film with High Infrared Ray Absorption Successfully Developed

A project of the Shanghai Rising-Star Program - ¡°Project of Structure of Infrared Detectors for Room-Temperature Ferroelectric Thin Film with High Infrared Ray Absorption¡±, conducted by Huang Zhiming, a Research Fellow of the Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics, CAS, passed check & acceptance in early September. As a result of the research, the research team has successfully fabricated 8-14 millimeters long wave infrared cavity structures, with absorption ratio up to 80% at most. One of its patents was granted with the Gold Award by the Fifth China International Invention Exhibition. Meanwhile, the team also published 34 academic papers in famous journals both at home and abroad, including one that was listed among the ¡°Global Annual 500 New Topics¡± by the American Noval Science Publisher Inc.

Intellectual Microcapsule Preparation System under Forced Electric Field Successfully Developed

The meeting for the acceptance inspection & achievement authentication of the facility research and manufacture project "Intelligent Preparation System of Microcapsule under Forced Electric Field", implemented by the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics (DICP), CAS, was held recently in Dalian. The Expert Committee commented that the major performance indicators of the system have reached the world advanced level. Besides, the microcapsule fabrication technique and scale and the technical indicator for grain homogeneity also take lead in the world. The research outcome has realized the production of microcapsule with steady and controllable quality under physiological conditions, providing stronger technical support and guarantee to the clinical utilization of the bio-microcapsule.
