Indian-Chinese Symposium on Genome Informatics Held

Recently, the Beijing Institute of Genome and the Indian Institute of Genome and Comprehensive Biology jointly held the Indian-Chinese Symposium on genome Informatics in Hangzhou. Over 20 scientists from the different Indian research institutes, American and Danish Universities, and many famous Chinese experts attended the grand symposium, at which more than 30 participants presented excellent academic lectures.

After the symposium, from Oct 31~Nov.2, Dr. Samir k. Brachmacharir, President of the Indian Institute of Genome and Comprehensive Biology and his group paid a visit to the Beijing Institute of Genome and had an extensive discussion exploring cooperation in relevant fields.
