Yongxiang Lu Congratulates CAS Member Can Li on His Winning of International Catalysis Award

On August 6, President of CAS Yongxiang Lu sent his congratulatory letter to CAS member Can Li of the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics to congratulate him on his winning of the International Catalysis Award. In his letter, president Yongxiang Lu wrote:

I was delighted to learn that CAS member Can Li was rewarded the International Catalysis Award in the 13th International Congress on Catalysis held in Paris, France. I wish to extend to CAS member Can Li and the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics my hearty congratulations.

"International Catalysis Award" established by the International Association of Catalysis Societies is to mainly reward the scientists under the age of 45 who have made outstanding achievements in the international catalysis field. This is the highest award that has ever granted to a Chinese scientist in catalysis field and the first award granted to a scientist in a developing country, which indicates that China's achievement in this field has been recognized and highly commented by the international catalysis circle.
