The 21st Session of the "TOP500" List of the world's fastest supercomputers was released during the International Supercomputer Conference (ISC2003) in Heidelberg on June 24-27, 2003. Legend Cluster, the newly purchased supercomputer by the Institute of Atmospheric Physics, CAS, ranks 98. The List was assembled and released by TOP500 Supercomputer, one of the most authoritative organizations for the regular assessment of the computer systems all over the world.
