International Consultation Workshop on Development of Botanical Garden

To build the first-class botanical garden, introduce international cooperation from the very beginning and realize internationalization of the construction platform, the Bureau of Life Science and Biotechnology organized the International Consultation Workshop on Development of Botanical Garden on Nov. 13, 2002. CAS Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, Wuhan Botanical Garden and South China Botanical Garden, attended the Consultation Workshop as the key gardens. The Expert Committee of the Consultation was composed of 9 distinguished professors in the field of botanical garden of different countries. Prof. Peter Wyse Jackson, chairman of Botanic Gardens Conservation International was invited to chair this workshop. -18
