Sino-Russian Intelligence Information Processing Joint Lab Established

On December 9, 2002, the Sino-Russian Intelligence Information Processing Joint Laboratory was jointly, established by the Institute of Computational Technology, CAS, in collaboration with the St. Petersburg Institute of Information and Automation, Russian Academy of Sciences.

The Joint Lab will be primarily devoted to the research on mathematical and logical basis for knowledge processing, computer model and methodology for large-scale knowledge processing, visualized and intelligence human-machine interfacing technology, the development of platforms and tools for intelligence information process, providing theoretical basis and key technologies for large-scale knowledge sharing in hetero-structured environment.
