The 14th Public Science Day fell this year on the third weekend of May. The Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), renowned as the “national scientific research team”, held a series of activities in more than 120 affiliated units across the country to promote the occasion. Its affiliated universities and institutions presented a number of scientific research achievements to the public, raising people’s awareness of science and CAS.
