The 8th China Summit Forum on Industrial Biotechnology Development was held in Tianjin from December 11 to 12. More than 400 participants, including government officials, academics, senior managers from innovation-driven enterprises and innovation entrepreneurship teams, personnel from investment firms and journalists, participated in the summit.

The theme of the summit was “New Biology, New Industry and the E^＋ Generation”, aiming at expanding the connotation and denotation of industrial biotechnology by focusing on new R&D trends, innovation entrepreneurships and financing opportunities in bioindustry.
