CAS Vice-President Zhang Yaping meets a delegation from KWS in Beijing on July 27.

Zhang Yaping, vice-president of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), met a delegation from the Kenya Wildlife Services (KWS) in Beijing on July 27, to discuss cooperation in the field of wild fauna and flora protection via the Sino-Africa Joint Research Center.

The two expressed their opinions on improving science research cooperation, fostering senior researchers for Kenya, and pulling in more international partners and related agreements. Afterwards, CAS’s Shanghai Advanced Research Institute signed a memorandum on joint anti-poaching projects with KWS.
