To meet the demands of international cooperation and exchange under new circumstances, accelerate the construction of a world-class university, fully leverage the international cooperation resources of the university’s faculty, and flexibly engage outstanding international scholars, the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) initiates the applications for the USTC Fellowship Visiting Professor Programand English Taught Courses Program 2025 (second batch).

I. Applications open from July 15, 2025 to September 30, 2025. Evaluation will take place in October 2025. Approved programswill be implemented from February 1, 2026 to February 1, 2027.

II. Visiting professor must be a Tenure-Track Faculty (a professor, an associate professor, an assistant professor or people with equivalent professional and technical post) in a world-class university who would like to visit and develop scientific research at USTC. The program will support their visits to USTC to conduct research-focused or teaching-and-research-focused work for a period of time from two months to one year.

III. The approved courses for the English Taught Courses Program should be submitted to the Division of Educational Management for unified courses arrangement. If courses failed to be arranged in a unified manner, such courses shall not be supported. Teachers who apply for the program for the first time should hold the title of Associate Professor or above.

IV. Approved International Visiting Professor Programand English Taught Courses Program in this batch must be executed in person at USTC. Online execution is not permitted.

V. Applications must be submitted online at: if.oic.ustc.edu.cn. Please apply under the International Visiting Professor Programand English Taught Course Program module. Download the application form, fill it out and submit the signed and stamped paper copy of the application form to the Office of International Cooperation by 17:00, September 30, 2025.
