Attention stargazers! Get ready for some lunar magic! We’ve already had a fantastic full moon on August 1, and will have one coming up on September 29; but the real showstopper is on August 31 when we’ll have a supermoon! When the moon is at its perigee, or closest point to the Earth in its orbit, it appears bigger and brighter than normal, earning the name “supermoon.” Don’t forget to mark your calendars and enjoy the show!
